Please be advised that on November 12, 2024, the Board of the Mon Valley Sewage Authority Approved Resolution No. 37 of 2024-Credit Card Usage Fee.
To date, a fee in the amount of $3.00 or 2.65% (whichever is greater of the total payment) has only been added to credit card transactions that occurred by phone or at the office window. Online payments have not incurred that fee. However, due to the rising cost of the charges that the Authority has had to absorb, effective January 1, 2025, the above fees will be assessed to all credit card transactions. Beginning January 1st, if you call into the office, there will be a prompt on the menu for payments. You will need your MVSA account number, and the fee will be 2.95% or $3.00-whichever is greater. Payments at the office window will remain at 2.65% or $3.00.
We will also begin to accept e-checks on the payment portal only at the start of the new year. The fee will be $1.50
As always, if you prefer not to pay these fees, you can mail in your payment with a check or money order, use the drop off box that is available 24/7, or stop by the office to pay by those options or by cash.
A 24 HOUR SECURE DROP BOX IS NOW AVAILABLE TO CUSTOMERS NEEDING TO SUBMIT PAYMENT OUTSIDE OF REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS.

Notice is hereby given that the Mon Valley Sewage Authority will hold a Special Meeting on Monday November 21, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. EST in the Authority’s conference room, located at 20 S. Washington Street Donora, PA. The meeting shall be held for the purpose of adopting the 2023 Budget and any other business that may come before the board.
The board of members of the Mon Valley Sewage Authority passed the 2023 Budget as of November 21, 2022. As a result of the approved budget no rate increase will be in effect for the 2023 fiscal year.

MON VALLEY SEWAGE AUTHORITY BOARD PASSED RESOLUTION NO. 16 OF 2022 AND RESOLUTION NO. 17 OF 2022 BEING EFFECTIVE AS OF MAY 10, 2022 THE POSTING FEE FOR DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS WILL BE $25.00 AND THE CHARGE FOR THE TERMINATION AND REESTABLISHMENT OF SERVICE WILL BE $150.00.
Payments may be made in the form check or money order by mail or through our online payment portal. Cash payment will also be accepted at our plant office.
